Horlyn: Yo! Thanks for having me here
🟠 It’s a pleasure! What does Horlyn stand for and how did your musical career start?
Horlyn: Horlyn stands for love, strength and Power; I think i have what it takes. I’m just a G who has been through it all. …and yeah, my musical career started when I was in High school, but i had a late discovery.
🟠Impressive, i must say i was not expecting the meaning of your stage name which is quite unique. Can you please shed more light on this “But i had a late discovery”
Horlyn: I discovered myself in 2019, after dropping, “Mind” Then, i followed it up with ‘When time comes. For me, it was late because back in High school, I was doing completely the opposite cos’ i was a science student, maybe i should have studied Art or Tech which falls under Engineering …something i now do alongside my music today which is Art.
🟠I am aware you have a song titled SLOW MO, what’s the inspiration behind it?
Horlyn: Slowmo is just a freeststyle. I heard the beat and i just jumped on it. In my own words, i would say, Imagination’s Beat inspired ‘Slow Mo and the energy was so pure in the studio when i did the recording.
🟠 I personally like “AJE and SLOWMO” but genuinely curious and eager to know which is your favorite among your songs?
Horlyn: My favorite is AJE

Horlyn: E.P soon definitely. I will be dropping few more singles before i drop my body of work though.

Horlyn: I was a little bit nervous and at the same time, i had it at the back of my mind that i need to leave a lasting impression. They either go home remembering my name or i mess things up for myself. So i clung on having them remember my name which i think i did well.
