Kranium cutting the edge with new EP ‘Toxic’

Global entertainer Kranium is taking Dancehall worldwide by delivering a simmering sonic cocktail of reggae, R&B, hip-hop, and soul. His music has been streamed nearly half-a-billion times and his talent praised by Hypebeast, The Fader, and Complex – with claims that “If there’s anything Kranium seems to get right each time, it’s the formula for making another hit.” Kranium has been sought out for collaborations by a variety of musicians ranging from Ed Sheeran and Bebe Rexha to Lil Kim and Rotimi. He’s managed to bring Dancehall to stages where some artists have never been/touched and has helped to spread the culture to various territories.

The Jamaican born and NY based singer, songwriter, creative, and Melody Gad, broke ground with his 2015 RIAA certified GOLD hit “Nobody Has To Know” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign]. It transformed into a staple for him and only marked the beginning of a consistent and successful career.

Kranium has managed to remain consistent over the years with singles like “We Can” ft. Tory Lanez, which recently went GOLD in Canada, his 2019 debut album “Midnight Sparks” which included hits like “In Charge”, and his 2020 global summer anthem “Gal Policy” which proved to be a fitting soundtrack for the quarantine lockdown and an honest fan favorite. His songs are rooted in Dancehall/R&B/Afrobeats and offer an eclectic vibe that many have come to love.  His concepts and topics showcase the immaculate and articulated array of ingenious musical creativity which further put Kranium in another stratosphere of superstardom.

2021, finds him setting the tone with the release of a new project tiled “Toxic.” The EP will include “Gal Policy” and a few other tracks – including 2 brand new records and is only a taste of what Kranium has to offer. He’s already in the studio working on a full-length project with a few singles slated for release ahead of that.

The New York Dancehall star has been one of the most consistent in his category for the past 5/6 years – delivering hits after hits with no co-sign.
